On October 26-27th, I met my friend who lives in California. He came to Kamloops to meet me, so I introduce part of Kamloops.
We talked about English and Japanese, his hometown, and Kamloops. Surprisingly, almost California people who work still wear a mask such as in Japan. On the other hand, Kamloops people do not wear a mask, so he was surprised. Also, he said that Canadian pronunciation is not clear compared to his hometown. In fact, his pronunciation was clear, so I could talk with him smoothly.
Before that, I do not know the difference between USA and Canada, because these countries are located next to land. However, I learned it and each characteristic. It was interesting for me. Also, His hometown is still warm, so he was surprised snowing in Kamloops.
